Fall Regional Retreat: Oct. 23-24th
The Northeast Regional Retreat will fulfill two goals: 1) train, engage, and empower new chapter leaders and emerging leaders at existing chapters, and 2) foster collaboration and planning among chapters on joint or common Think Impact projects (local, state, national, or international). There will be trainings and workshops on chapter organizing, policy research and writing, and Think Impact. Chapters will present current projects, share past accomplishments, and exchange best practices. The retreat will also focus on planning for regional Think Impact goals, and there will be sub-regional breakouts so that chapters located near one another can have time for face-to-face collaboration and brainstorming.
Northeastern chapter leaders can expect to gain from the retreat more refined skills on chapter organizing and policy research, closer connections with other chapter leaders in the region, and concrete goals and plans for Think Impact projects that will be developed throughout the year. These projects will serve as the cornerstone of our regional conference in the spring.
