California Expo -Everybody should do a paper for the Cali Expo -Intent to submit deadline has passed Tentative date for Cali Expo is May 21st 3. Updates Minutes will now be posted in the blog New framework has been posted online: - Officers can now be voted off by a majority vote if other officers are unhappy with their performance. -Officers will also submit a quarterly report on their activities -Project leaders will also submit biweekly reports on their progress -Anything not covered will be decided by consensus Fundraiser -The fundraiser will be an American style barbecue -It will take place on Friday April 9 -Food will include hamburgers, hotdogs, corn, soda, chips, fruit and assorted condiments Policy Journal -Journal has been merged with Defense/Diplomacy and Healthcare, it is now called the Journal of Public Policy -publication is guaranteed for everyone who submits Investigating Fee Hikes Project Leader: Gonzalo -Roles have been assigned: -David will be researching where the funding is going -Abel will research the costs and benefits of privatizing the university system -Gonzalo has an outline of the project and will email it to everybody -By tuesday, everybody will email Gonzalo a report update: meetings are now biweekly -the next meeting will have a professor speaking. Raul has the details, it will take place second week of spring quarter.
