Roosevelt Rapid Response is an exciting new opportunity for you and your chapter.

What?

The New York City Office and the senior fellows will work together to produce twice monthly, policy center themed e-mails that share interesting news articles that would make great blog topics. These e-mails will also include opportunities from our partner organizations that we want to share with students. These opportunities range, but a few previous examples include the opportunity to live blog at the Democratic National Conference and representing the youth voice at the U.N. 

 E-mails will be sent to Rapid Response Teams by the Senior Fellows. Rapid Response Teams are made up of students who have expressed interest in participating to the Senior Fellows.

Each article sent in the Rapid Response e-mail will also have a link to a National Field, which students can follow to contribute their thoughts on the article even if they do not write a blog on that topic. Don’t have a National Field Account? Let your Senior Fellow know!

Who?

Any student, anywhere! There is not obligation when joining a Rapid Response Team, although we do encourage you to be an active participant on National Field and in blogging.

When?

Rapid Response will begin Monday August 27th and last the entire year. See the schedule below.

Why?

Rapid Response is intended to engage a larger group of students in policy center focused dialog and blogging. 

Rapid Response is also a tool for chapter heads to use to engage students when they first join a Roosevelt Chapter. Instead of promoting opportunities with far off deadlines, students can become engaged right now with the larger Roosevelt community through a Rapid Response Team and share their thoughts with the world through blogging.
