State Feed-in Tariffs

After recieving the award for the best Energy and Environmental piece of the year, Cory Connolly is getting back to it. Last year, he was very successful at engaging himself and other MSU Roosevelt members into the policy dialogue surrounding feed-in tariffs for the State of Michigan. (In his words: "Feed-in Tariffs mandate a set price per kilowatt-hour that utility companies must pay consumers for the clean energy that they generate.")

Momentum has been building for the energy program, particularly following the Green Jobs conference this May that took place in the state capitol in Lansing. Cory and his team look forward to working on this issue, among many, and doing their part to ensure a safe planet and a Michigan economy that experiences high long-run growth.
