First Chapter-Wide Meeting

Monday, January 25, 2010 - 19:00 - 20:00

Welcome Back!

This chapter-wide meeting is important.

There will be a CRITICAL election to kick off the meeting, a brief introduction to the work that needs to be done the rest of the year, and then 3 short break outs for 6 different upcoming projects for the semester and into next year.

The projects will be focused both on new work and building on the incredible work that has already been done by Roosevelt members like Theresa Gasinski, Josh Croff, Kelly Steffen, and more. Everything from ZipCars to Lansing Refugees will be covered.

The election is for two different positions: Center Director for International Security and Chapter President for the 2010-2011 school year. There is a shadowing and training period through the semester for the Chapter President job. Please email Dan Blue, dblue@rooseveltinstitute.org, if you have any questions or wish to run for either of these postions. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE young members to consider this.

The meeting's location is in the conference room on the second floor of Eustace Cole Hall, which is near Berkey. Link to map ishere

Meeting time is from 7 until 8pm, Monday, January 25th. There will be, as always, drinks and snacks.

This picture is unrelated to any of this, but you can (and should) order variations of it from www.yesmichican.com. Michigan is awesome.
