The Roosevelt Academy is a competitive and rigorous summer program that attracts many students who would otherwise not have the chance to work at a policy-based organization. Each student receives a stipend for living expenses and undergoes nine weeks of skill-building training in policy, communications, political strategy, and organizing. Their skills and ideas are routinely put to work during their internships; the Chicago Academy placed each student with a department of the City of Chicago through the Mayoral Fellows Program.

This is a collection of 2010 Roosevelt Chicago Summer Academy fellows and their policy recommendations for the City of Chicago.  Please note that this publication serves as shorten versions of each Fellow's original white papers.
