Grayson Cooper is a sophomore at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a major in Interdisciplinary Studies in Educational Entrepreneurship. His interest in education stems from teaching experiences, through both a self-initiated program at a local community college and Summerbridge Pittsburgh (a member of Breakthrough Collaborative). The motivation and achievement he encountered with the students encouraged a research mentorship with the Duke University Talent Identification Program. Currently, Grayson is working on developing a charter school in the local area surrounding Chapel Hill. As a Senior Fellow, he’s excited with the prospect of engaging fellow students on education issues and developing relevant and meaningful strategies to address them.
