Matthew Fischler is currently the Lead Policy Stragest for the Center on Equal Justice. He is a Senior and a Chapter Co-Founder at Northwestern University. As a member of the American Studies program at NU, he has studied the intersections between race, public policy, and inequality in urban communities specializing in housing and criminal justice policies. Hailing from the great State of Texas, he loves breakfast items wrapped up in tortillas, Asset-Based Community Development, "Kittens! Inspired by Kittens!," and Progressive politics. Of course, he has a deeply unhealthy obsession of President Barack Obama.
