Sid Salvi is a junior at Amherst College pursuing a degree in economics. This past year he helped start the Roosevelt chapter at Amherst College where he organized a 3 week interterm public policy class. He has a deep passion for public policy and social enterprise; his main areas of interest are economic development and healthcare. Last year, he took the semester off to work on the Obama campaign at the national headquarters in Chicago, and in Florida. Most recently, he worked for a small non-profit organization in Sierra Leone on income development.
